Milestones

The need for an additional production and administration building for Thermoplan had existed for some time. After the one-year planning phase and some official clarifications, the population of  Weggis was able to vote on the new building on the 13 June 2021. Only six months later, the groundbreaking ceremony took place on the former site of Plant 1. Little by little, the floor plates were finalised, and the facade was raised. After various raw installations, the interior work followed by the installation of the logistics and conveyor technology was completed within the new building unique which opened in June 2024.
