Free e-charging stations for employees

Charging stations for electric cars have been available to employees in the Thermoplan underground parking garage since July 2022. There are 25 pre-installed stations offering connections for cars as well as e-bikes. The installations were financed by our CO₂ funds. We are currently compensating for our air travel, and the measures are being continuously expanded.

In practice

• In the future, with the help of additional CO₂ funds, we will also act in the spirit of sustainability outside Thermoplan: by planting trees in suitable locations, financing better filters in incineration plants, providing gas stoves instead of wood-burning stoves in developing countries and many more.

• Saved 2,260 kWh in one month (equivalent to about 28 full Tesla charges or 37 full electric charges)
• To date, one employee car purchase due to new charging option
• Stations are continuously being expanded
