Quick and easy maintenance

With Thermoplan, all basic functions are combined in just two modules - mechanics and hydraulics. This perfected modularity enables the modules to be replaced quickly and easily, which reduces downtimes to an absolute minimum - a decisive advantage in the hectic everyday gastronomy business!

Maintenance and service work on our Black&White4 fully automatic coffee machines is carried out exclusively on the respective modules. A complete machine module can be replaced in just a few minutes. This means that every machine is up and running again in no time and ready to create delicious coffee specialties.

And to make the tried and tested even better, we are constantly working on the further development of our modular system.

In the innovative Black&White4 and Black&White 4c models, all basic functions are combined exclusively on the two modules mechanics and hydraulics. The clever arrangement of all parts requiring maintenance on these two units minimizes the service effort enormously. In addition, the mechanical module on the Black&White4 is equipped with a chip for electronic identification, which means that it can be tracked and managed in combination with our ThermoplanConnect telemetry system.

The mechanics module
The heart of the mechanical module is the brewing chamber, which measures 50mm in diameter on the Black&White4. Thanks to the larger diameter, significantly more flavors are extracted during brewing. In addition, the higher dosage of up to 25 grams enables the preparation of high-dose double or triple shots. Each drink can be individually adjusted to the optimum taste by adjusting the water temperature. The built-in vibration damping on both models ensures a pleasant background noise during brewing.

The hydraulic module
In the Black&White4, the hydraulic module scores points with its dual boiler system, which opens up new possibilities in coffee, tea and milk preparation. The two independent boilers for coffee, hot water and milk offer more flexibility in terms of beverage temperature. This means that any beverage can be enjoyed with hot or cold milk and nothing stands in the way of a perfectly prepared drink. With the Black&White4c, on the other hand, a single boiler is used to heat coffee and tea. It contains a spiral system that heats the milk. The powerful water pump and increased delivery rate ensure perfect espresso enjoyment.

Black&White4 neo

The unique modular system of the Black&White4 neo differs from the other Black&White4 models. With our innovative Clip&Click brewing system, the neo combines all machine functions on a stable brewing chamber system. Developed by Thermoplan, this system enables multiple brewing cycles and is made of high-quality materials. The best thing about it? The brewing chamber can be removed and cleaned in the dishwasher in just one easy step, saving a lot of time and effort. With a brewing chamber capacity of up to 20 grams and the very durable grinding discs, the Black&White4 neo guarantees perfect interaction for maximum coffee enjoyment.

Black&White3

With the introduction of the Black&White3 back in 2009, we opted for a modular interior for our fully automatic coffee machines. The modular system of the Black&White3 consists of three parts: the mechanical, hydraulic and steam module. Each module forms a self-contained unit, which simplifies maintenance and servicing.

The mechanical module is equipped with a stainless steel brewing unit and has two solid aluminum grinders with ceramic discs that always ensure outstanding coffee enjoyment. The hydraulic module is multifunctional and is responsible for hot water preparation, water distribution and the coffee boiler. The steam module has a powerful boiler with a capacity of 4 liters, which enables continuous hot water and steam supply - both manually and automatically.
