Review of the year 2024
50 years of Thermoplan, opening of the new unique building, World Latte Art Championship, approval of the uniqueBean project - 2024 was one highlight after another at Thermoplan! Time to look back on the best moments and raise a glass to an equally great 2025.
Internorga & Intergastra
In February and March, we visited two important trade fairs in Germany - Intergastra in Stuttgart and Internorga in Hamburg. Our dedicated trade fair team presented the Black&White4 fully automatic coffee machines to a total of over 160,000 visitors.
50 years of Thermoplan
Thermoplan was founded back in 1974. The production of the first automatic whipping cream machines and milk frothers laid the foundation for a successful company history. This March, we celebrated the 50th anniversary of the company.
Grand Opening unique
After just 960 days of construction, we inaugurated the new building unique in June, marking our fifth plant at the headquarters in Weggis. During the opening week, suppliers and partners from around the world visited us, culminating in a grand and successful open house on June 22, 2024, where nearly 5,000 people joined us in celebration!
World Latte Art Championship
Also in June, we were able to provide the Black&White4 Competizione as the machine for the Latte Art World Championships in Copenhagen for the first time. In addition to a smooth process on stage, we were also able to welcome many visitors to our new SCA stand.

At the trade fair for bakery and confectionery in Stuttgart, we were able to present our first-class fully automatic coffee machines for the second time alongside 650 other exhibitors.
Project approval uniqueBean
After some waiting, the planned uniqueBean project by Thermoplan and Caritas in Ethiopia was finally approved as a great end to the year. We look forward to getting started in 2025.
2024 was a year full of milestones and unforgettable moments at Thermoplan. With this momentum, we look forward to 2025 and the exciting challenges ahead. Together, we will continue to achieve great things!
