A complete success!
11,000 visitors, countless latte art creations and a brilliant performance by our Black&White4 Competizione - we look back on four fantastic days at the WLAC in Copenhagen.
World Latte Art Championship
A total of nine of our brand new Black&White4 Competizione were used during the championships. Three in the training room in the run-up and during the championships, three more on the Art Bar, which was operated not only by the latte art professionals but also by the bar staff, and three on the stage. With a completely different exterior design, each Black&White4 Competizione convinced with the absolutely identical interior. And so the use of the first fully automatic coffee machine at a World Latte Art Championship was a complete success.
The machines from Switzerland reliably accompanied the 38 competitors from all over the world through the preliminary round, the semi-finals and the grand final.
The winner of this year's world championship is Yi-Chen Xie from Taiwan. Thermoplan CEO, Adrian Steiner, personally handed over the winner's trophy. We congratulate Yi-Chen on this unique success!
Exhibition stand
Another highlight was ournew exhibition stand, which was used for the first time in Copenhagen. Visitors were able to find out more about the Black&White4 Competizione and test it for themselves on an area measuring 8x6 meters. The interest was huge and our machine definitely impressed. We were able to welcome many interested visitors on our stand and present our machines.
